Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.


• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit.


• Serve food items promptly, ensuring presentation and cleanliness meet company standards.


• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment in accordance with food safety regulations.


• Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while respecting guest preferences.


• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate point\-of\-sale systems with ease.


• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.


• Provide guests with information about menu items, specials, and dietary options to enhance their experience.


• Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing any concerns promptly and professionally.


• Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow.

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.


• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous.


• Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be highly valued.


• Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.


• Experience working in kitchens or culinary environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory.


• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
