As our Bar Manager, you:

• are experienced in your field and have a passion for delivering great hospitality to all your guests


• have your finger on the pulse when it comes to drinks service and delivery


• can be found covering all areas of the restaurant, from greeting guests to guiding and coaching team members through a busy service

Skill and experience are necessary to do this job, but more than anything else, we want someone who shares our vision of a hospitality industry that is better and sees themselves being part of the team who can make this happen!

We pay a fair wage – with our hourly pay being higher than the Government rates, at a minimum. Your earnings will be further enhanced by our 10% service charges and other tips that guests leave – with 100% of tips being retained by the team.

Located in Wishaw, Lanarkshire, The Commercial is a hotel, bar and restaurant.

Our family friendly venue serves food 7 days a week from 12pm. Plus we have daily deals on our menu to make sure eating out is pocket\-friendly as well as tasty!

With the major sports channels and large screen TVs guests can also enjoy the best of football, boxing and more, live!

We have a late\-night bar too. Every Friday and Saturday we’ve got DJs providing a soundtrack to the weekend and are open til 1am, with classic drinks, shots and cocktails to enjoy! On a Thursday, we also have live acoustic music from 9pm.

For those visiting from further afield, our cosy hotel rooms are the perfect place to stopover, whether you’re visiting for work or pleasure.
