Bar/Event Manager

Duties

• Manage daily bar operations, including inventory control, cleanliness, and compliance with health and safety regulations


• Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest services and foster a positive team environment


• Coordinate and execute a diverse range of events, from private parties to corporate functions, ensuring seamless execution


• Implement upselling techniques to maximize revenue while enhancing guest satisfaction


• Oversee guest interactions, resolve issues promptly, and ensure memorable experiences for all visitors


• Maintain organizational efficiency by managing schedules, supplies, and event logistics effectively


• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote upcoming events and special offerings

Qualifications

• Proven experience in restaurant or hotel management with a strong background in bar service and event coordination


• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests and lead a team confidently


• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and effective time management abilities


• Knowledge of hospitality standards, guest services best practices, and health regulations


• Demonstrated ability in upselling techniques to increase sales and revenue streams


• Experience in fundraising or community engagement is a plus but not required


• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining professionalism
