We present a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and exciting team at Sapphire Dental, a private clinic based in Camberley, Surrey. We pride ourselves on a professional and caring ethos, and in putting patients first.
We are looking for 1 candidate to fulfil the role of a dental receptionist or dental nurse/receptionist.
The part\-time position involves working 1 day a week, every Saturday between 8\.45am \- 5\.30pm (8 hours, with a 45 minute break).

The role requires someone who has high customer service standards, great telephone technique, strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively and professionally on all levels.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a customer\-facing role and be willing to work as part of the team to ensure the practice maintains its high standards and good reputation.
In return the practice pays a competitive salary along with other benefits and offers full training. The role will include:
o Being responsible for the reception of all visitors and callers to the practice
o Booking in and managing patient appointments which will also include diary management of the dental team and understanding the differing needs of individual clinicians
o Dealing with phone calls, voicemails and emails, and directing enquiries to the most effective point of contact efficiently
o Creating a professional image of the company in the way they handle calls and visitors, whilst providing a calming reassurance to nervous patients
o Keeping patient information updated and maintaining clear records of all communications
o Communicating well with all team members, external suppliers, other dental companies who support the team and other dental practices who trust the team with their referred patients
o Marketing in person as well as on social media, and understanding the variety of dental treatments offered by the team.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be:
o Able to communicate to patients (and prospective patients) the various payment plans, finance options, and the understand the difference between handling the practice’s own private patients and externally referred patients
o Computer literate with good grammar and spelling in order to be able to communicate professionally
o Good at organising their tasks and remembering requests given by clinicians for booking their patients
o Good at keeping clear notes on all patient communications
o Confident at speaking to the public in a clear manner
o Adaptable and willing to learn new things and new systems
If you are also a dental nurse, you will have the opportunity to also nurse on some Satudays.
The practice is seeking an individual who is prepared to go above and beyond their job remit in order to consistently exceed patient care, service and expectation.
