Bank Support Worker (Days \& Nights) – Mental Health Rehabilitation

  • Pay: £13\.10 per hour

Important: Due to the needs of the service, applicants must be able to work a mixture of both day and night shifts and be available to start shifts at the required times (including 7:15am and 7:15pm starts). Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate applicants who are only available for day shifts or only available for night shifts.

Harewood Park is a specialist rehabilitation service supporting adults with enduring mental health conditions, mild learning disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We are looking for enthusiastic Bank Support Workers to join our dedicated team.

This role is ideal for individuals who can work flexibly across both day and night shifts and are able to start at the required shift times. Due to the needs of the service, applicants must be willing to work a mixture of days and nights.

Available shifts include:

  • Long Days: 7:15am – 7:15pm

  • Early Shifts: 7:15am – 1:15pm

  • Late Shifts: 1:15pm – 7:15pm

  • Short Days: 9:00am – 3:00pm

  • Nights: 7:15pm – 7:15am

  • Twilight Shifts: 7:15pm \- Midnight
What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities

  • Assisting with meals, nutrition and hydration

  • Encouraging independence and rehabilitation goals

  • Supporting social, recreational and community activities

  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns appropriately

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

  • Working as part of a therapeutic multidisciplinary team
What we're looking for:
  • Compassionate and patient individuals

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexibility to work both day and night shifts

  • Ability to arrive promptly for all scheduled shift start times

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable
