You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service. Whether you're assisting with day\-to\-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.* Assists qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
- Provides practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation.
- Observes and monitors the wellbeing of patients ensuring that any unusual physical, mental or emotional occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will be educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 1 or GCSE standard in Mathematics and English and will demonstrate an understanding of the importance of maintaining strict confidentiality, alongside basic IT literacy skills. No specific prior experience is required for the role. Due to the nature of the position, the post holder will regularly interact with staff, patients, and visitors both in person and over the telephone, requiring effective communication skills and the ability to exchange routine information clearly and professionally. Strong observational and listening skills are essential to support the monitoring of patients’ mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
