Band 4 Reception Supervisor - Zinnia
To provide efficient, effective, and high standard reception and switchboard service to patients, staff, and visitors to Zinnia CMHT. First point of contact for the building, dealing with queries from patient’s family and carers as well as other professional organisations involved with patient care.
To provide a high level of professional and confidential coordination of the reception staff. The post holder will provide support to the receptionists.
To be able to interpret and act effectively in the situation where a client is becoming agitated to the point of endangering the staff or other clients \& raise alarm without further inflaming the situation.
To act as initial point of contact either by phone or face to face when dealing with patients suffering with Mental Health related problems, using tact and diplomacy as required to Ascertain the nature of the individual’s enquiry.
To liaise with all professionals to ensure the smooth running of the centre \& to develop good working practices \& relationships with teams in the building.
To attend meetings as and when required by the admin lead
To ensure the Admin Lead is fully briefed on progress of work \& action taken on delegated authority.
To manage on a day\-to\-day basis the provision of an efficient and effective reception service.
To establish and maintain standards and ensure these are audited and regularly reviewed.
To ensure relevant rotas are filled and to manage sick leave, annual leave, and other absence for all administrative staff.
To ensure that all administrative processes are appropriately actioned, this includes, salary returns, sickness records, complaints, ordering of stock and nonstock items.
