B2B Business Development Manager: £30k basic \+ monthly bonuses \+ 4\-day working week.
We are currently looking for a B2B Business Development Manager, with experience in B2B sales, marketing, and / or business development, that ideally has a penchant for and/or experience in technolgy solutions.
Working closely with our small, existing BD team, you will be primarily using phone, email, LinkedIn, web\-based research, and visual content, to research companies, start relationships with prospects, uncover new business opportunities, and help to convert them into new business.
The role is predominantly home\-based, but you will be expected to meet with us from time to time (we're based in West Sussex) for meetings, training and work days.
Our BDEs benefit from a good starting salary (£30k per annum) with the opportunity to earn extra monthly bonuses, aligned with their performance and client revenue.

- be able to demonstrate good questioning, listening, and closing skills
- be able to articulate and compose grammatically correct emails
- have experience of developing and managing pipelines on CRMs (e.g. SalesForce, Pipedrive, ZoHo, Hubspot)
- have the confidence and articulacy to be able to pitch a business proposition to senior\-level decision makers
- be comfortable talking to people on the phone, Zoom or Teams
- be comfortable in a face to face, client meeting
- have a good LinkedIn profile (minimum 500 connections)
- have a positive ‘can\-do’ attitude
- have an interest in existing, new and emerging business technolgies (ie, be a tech\-embracer, NOT a technophobe!)
In order to be considered, you must:
- be based in Sussex, Surrey or Hampshire
- have a minimum of 2 years' experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, and / or business development
- be educated to A\-level (or equivalent)
- be self\-motivated and capable of working without distraction
- have a methodical, logical approach to work and an a keen eye for attention to detail
- be capable of thinking and working on your own, but also comfortable working with a team
- be comfortable working towards weekly targets
- have access to a suitable home\-based office / spare room (i.e. a distraction\-free working environment)
- own a suitable laptop / PC and have Wi\-Fi

After that, we help our clients convert those prospects into customers. Second\-stage meetings, on\-boarding workshops and re\-engagement often play a crucial part in the business development cycle for our clients, who are predominently solution\-based.
We attend some of the early meetings with our clients to get a first\-hand glimpse of what goes on inside the sales room. We have weekly catch\-ups with them to discuss campaign progress, pipeline development, and strategies around specific opportunities.
Daily work expectations, once fully trained:
- Be responsible for a maximum of three, ongoing clients
- Make a minimum of 50 calls per day
- Send a minimum of 10 personalised emails per day
- Use LinkedIn to connect with contacts you are calling and emailing
- Update the CRM in accordance with Bluestone's process
- Book Zoom / Teams calls with prospects on behalf of our clients
Mon\-Thurs, 8\.00\-17\.30, with a half\-hour lunch break.
Holiday entitlement
25 days per annum, in addition to public holidays.
