Mega is hiring B2B Area Sales Managers. As the sales manager for a geographic area, you play a key role in the organization by identifying and converting business opportunities within your region in the large and very large enterprise segments. You propose actions plans to the management and act as a true driver of growth. You develop and manage your own clients portfolio, maintain and expand relationships with all stakeholders and take the lead of the local sales team.

Scope \& Product Frame:

  • Segments covered: Large and very large Enterprises (from 500MWh to 25GWh/y of power or gas consumption).

  • A large range of products that fit customer needs to manage price and volume risks.

  • Competitive pricing for power, gas and injection.

  • Go\-to\-market: field\-driven acquisition—you create your own pipeline.
What you will do?
  • Identify opportunities, propose and execute actions plans to grow the business.

  • Develop your region: map the territory, open doors, build a local network (consultants, business clubs), and keep a disciplined cadence of meetings.

  • Win and grow accounts: explain offers clearly, close deals, take care of your existing customers, and manage renewals.

  • Coach and lead the local sales team (1 to 3 persons).

  • Own pipeline \& forecast: maintain CRM hygiene, stage opportunities properly, and deliver on targets.

  • Coordinate execution: work with Operations, Customer Care, and Credit \& Collection to ensure smooth switching, billing, reporting and cash discipline.

  • Energy conversations: speak pragmatically about injection \& consumption (PV/on\-site generation, batteries, EV charging, flexibility).

  • Forecast accuracy, pipeline quality, and CRM discipline.

Job requirements

Is this job made for you?

  • Education : bachelor degree.

  • Experience : min. 3 years in B2B energy sales (mandatory).

  • Language : Fluency in Dutch and strong English skills.

  • A true hunter mindset: organized, persistent, performance\-driven.

  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills; credibility with buyers/consultants.

  • Excel proficiency (formulas, pivots) and solid CRM/forecast discipline.
