Duties

• Install, test, and troubleshoot diesel\-powered heating units designed for campervans, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.


• Assemble and secure 12V electrical wiring and components using hand tools and power tools, following detailed technical diagrams and specifications.


• Conduct routine maintenance checks on heating systems and electrical setups to prevent malfunctions and extend system longevity.


• Assist with heavy lifting of equipment, components, and materials during installation or repair processes to ensure efficient workflow.


• Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, and power tools like drills and saws to complete assembly tasks accurately.


• Document all installation procedures, repairs, and maintenance activities thoroughly for quality assurance records.


• Collaborate with the design team to improve system layouts and troubleshoot issues during the build process.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience working on automotive or similar mechanical systems.


• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in a workshop or vehicle environment.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or materials during installation or repairs.


• Basic understanding of 12V electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical component integration.


• Previous experience working with diesel heaters or automotive heating solutions is highly desirable.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.


• Physical stamina to stand, kneel, or lift for extended periods during installation or maintenance tasks.
