Automation Technician\- Swing shift (Rotating) \- 39hrs per week

ITW Medical is comprised of two highly\-respected medical product brands \- Coeur, Filtertek – supplying medical devices, components, and service to global medical device brands. Filtertek manufactures molded filtration and flow control components. Coeur is a leading provider of disposable diagnostic imaging consumables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Automation Support\-

· Monitor and support the performance of automated production and process equipment.

· Complete product and equipment changeovers.

· Work with Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring technical issues.

· Troubleshoot machine and automation issues to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.

· Carry out PM work as part of the maintenance support for machines.

· Analyse process data and identify opportunities for improvement.

· Ensure process parameters are controlled and maintained within approved limits.

· Assist with commissioning, installation, and qualification of new moulding and automation equipment.

Continuous Improvement

· Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects.

· Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, increase OEE, improve cycle times, and improve equipment reliability.

· Apply structured problem\-solving techniques to equipment and process\-related issues.

· Support Lean Manufacturing such as 6S initiatives throughout the production area.

Quality \& Compliance

· Comply with all Health \& Safety, GMP, Quality System and Environmental requirements.

· Support investigations into quality issues, non\-conformances, and customer complaints.

· Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.

· Maintain accurate technical and production records.

Training \& Team Support

· Act as a technical resource for production operators.

· Support the training and development of operators on automation equipment and process equipment.

· Promote best practices and consistent process control across shifts.

· Assist in developing standard work instructions and technical procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

· Level 6 technical qualification (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automation or equivalent experience).

· 2\-3\+ years' experience in, process technician or manufacturing technician roles.

· Proven troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills within a manufacturing environment.

· Strong communication, teamwork and computer skills.

Desirable

· Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Automotive or similar).

· Experience with process validation, change control and continuous improvement methodologies.

· Knowledge of injection moulding processes, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, robotics and automation controls.

Pay: €45,000\.00\-€55,000\.00 per year
