Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automatic \& Industrial Door Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of door systems in various settings. This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to work independently while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

• Install door systems according to manufacturer specifications and industry regulations.


• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on existing doors to ensure optimal functionality.


• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with door systems including mechanical and electrical faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.


• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for suitable door solutions.


• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and installations.


• Adhere to health and safety regulations while on\-site, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.


• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in door technology.


• Attend emergency call\-outs as part of a rota.


• We carry out facilities management work for some of our clients stores, this can include plumbing, flooring, locks etc, you would be required to work on these too.

• Proven experience as an Automatic \& Industrial Door Engineer.


• Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanics, and automated systems.


• Excellent problem\-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.


• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues ensuring you deliver excellent customer service on\-site.


• A Full valid UK driving licence is essential for travel between job sites.


• Relevant certifications in engineering or related fields are advantageous but not mandatory. (ADSA / DHF / CSCS / IPAF / PASMA certification desirable but not essential.) Pay: £28,633\.16\-£49,777\.56 per year
