Associate Healthcare Scientist – Medical Engineering

You’ll play a key role in areas such as Trust‑wide resuscitation trolley equipment provision, Equipment Library operations, and technical support within weekly respiratory clinic settings. Regular weekend working is part of the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), servicing, inspection and repair on a range of non‑complex to moderately complex medical devices
Perform routine fault‑finding, using appropriate diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve issues
Support the safe condemnation and disposal of medical devices
Conduct acceptance testing for new and loaned equipment before clinical use
Assist with the rollout of newly accepted devices into clinical areas
Contribute to Trust‑wide resuscitation equipment schemes to ensure readiness and compliance
