Assistant Team Leader \- Supported Living Services
Salary: £29,744 per annum, plus on\-call allowance
Hours: 35 hours per week plus the expectation of evening and weekend as required.
Location: Giffnock
Are you looking for your next challenge in social care? Are you experienced in social care and can lead a team of support workers? This is a fantastic opportunity to provide leadership, oversight and direction to a dedicated team and work with the broader multi\-disciplinary, multi\-agency team to ensure support protocols and systems are in place to allow the individuals to live a safe, full life in the community.
The individuals you will be supporting have different support needs ranging from support with their mobility, their emotional and physical wellbeing, their personal care needs and support to keep them safe and well when things around them get tough.
We are looking for a special type of person who can juggle different priorities, while at the same time ensuring that a personal service is being delivered to the supported individuals. If you have values, leadership skills, drive and energy, we will support you to make the most of your career in social care, knowing you are making a difference everyday,
Reporting to the Head of Operations, and in collaboration with your line manager – Operations Manager, you will drive the development of the service, support transitions for people moving to their new home and ensure that the varying health and support needs of individuals are responded to.
You may not feel that you meet the essential criteria of the role, however, we encourage you to apply if you have transferrable skills and experience, perhaps from different social care settings, educational settings or working in behaviour support.
