Duties

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service delivery.


• Supervise and motivate team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive working environment.


• Assist with food preparation and cooking to maintain quality standards during busy periods.


• Monitor food safety and hygiene compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements.


• Manage reservations, organise seating arrangements, and ensure excellent customer service at all times.


• Oversee food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of dishes while maintaining quality.


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints efficiently to uphold high satisfaction levels.


• Support staff training programmes and promote team development initiatives.


• Maintain stock levels, assist with inventory management, and coordinate with suppliers as needed.


• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in line with health and safety regulations.

• Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.


• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices.


• Experience in food safety standards and food production processes.


• Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.


• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in service delivery.


• Previous experience working in restaurants, hotels, or similar hospitality environments is highly desirable.


• Competence in supervising staff, managing customer relations, and handling operational challenges.


• Knowledge of hospitality industry trends and best practices.


• Ability to work under pressure during peak hours while maintaining professionalism.
