Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth operation of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food production, cooking, and food safety standards. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.

  • Supervise and motivate staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.

  • Coordinate food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations.

  • Oversee food production processes, ensuring quality control and timely delivery of dishes.

  • Manage customer service interactions, resolving any issues promptly to maintain guest satisfaction.

  • Support in training new staff members and conducting ongoing staff development programmes.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies across all areas of the restaurant.

  • Assist with inventory management, stock ordering, and waste reduction initiatives.

  • Contribute to menu planning and development in collaboration with culinary staff.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings.

  • Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation.

  • Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.

  • Previous experience in kitchen operations or culinary roles is highly desirable.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

  • Hospitality experience with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

  • Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • Supervising experience within a busy restaurant environment is preferred.

  • A proactive attitude with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour. Pay: £28,000\.00\-£33,500\.00 per year
