Assistant Restaurant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our busy establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant procedures.

Working hours are approximately 38\-42 over 5 days with various shift patterns, day and evening shifts required. Usual shift patterns include; 9\.30\-5pm / 5pm\-1am / 12\-9pm.

Weekly pay plus great cash tips and staff discount

Salary negotiable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service delivery, working closely with our kitchen team.


• Work closely with the manager to manage the team, including scheduling, training, and motivating staff members


• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times


• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant environment in accordance with health regulations


• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally


• Ensure compliance with all food safety standards and legal requirements


• Opening \& closing procedures required including cash handling.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings


• To hold a Personal License with experience in bar work, including barista and cocktails.


• Experience in food production, serving, and hospitality services such as hotel or barista experience is advantageous


• Ability to supervise staff effectively while maintaining a positive work environment


• Organised with excellent communication skills and the ability to affectively deal with customer enquiries for functions and event. Some IT skills required to be able to send and respond to emails.

Pay: From £29,000\.00 per year
