We are looking for a dynamic, motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our vibrant and busy restaurant team. As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the daily running of the restaurant, leading the team, maintaining high standards and ensuring every guest has an enjoyable experience. Key Responsibilities Assist with the day\-to\-day management and smooth operation of the restaurant. Supervise restaurant staff, including waiting staff, bartenders and kitchen team members. Lead by example and motivate the team to deliver excellent service and maintain high standards. Ensure guests receive a warm, friendly and professional experience from arrival to departure. Support food preparation, service and kitchen operations to ensure orders are delivered efficiently and consistently. Work closely with the kitchen and front\-of\-house teams to maintain smooth communication and service. Ensure excellent standards of food quality, cleanliness, hygiene and presentation are maintained at all times. Monitor and follow food safety procedures and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Assist with stock control and inventory management for food, drinks and other supplies. Help minimise waste and control costs while maintaining quality. Deal confidently and professionally with customer enquiries, feedback and complaints. Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff organisation, rotas and daily operational requirements. Support the training and development of new and existing team members. Take responsibility for the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager when required. About You We are looking for someone who is: Experienced in a supervisory or senior role within a busy restaurant or hospitality environment. Confident leading and motivating a team. Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure. Passionate about customer service and creating memorable guest experiences. Knowledgeable about food preparation, cooking techniques and restaurant operations. Familiar with food safety, hygiene and health \& safety standards. Comfortable working closely with both kitchen and front\-of\-house teams. Able to communicate clearly and professionally with staff, customers and management. Flexible and willing to get involved wherever needed. Positive, energetic and able to maintain a welcoming atmosphere even during busy services. Experience in bartending, barista work, hotel hospitality or other areas of the hospitality industry would be an advantage.
