An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join the Selby CAMHS team.
Supervised by a Clinical Psychologist, the successful candidate will work alongside supportive, innovative and collaborative multi\-disciplinary teams to deliver high quality and timely evidence\-based care to young people in the community.
Applicants must have a degree in Psychology and be eligible for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society

Main duties of the job
The post holders will be involved in supporting the provision of psychologically informed care and psychological interventions through direct and indirect clinical activities. This will include attendance at multidisciplinary meetings, contribution to psychological assessment and formulation, developing support plans, non\-pharmacological interventions, groups and evaluation of outcomes.
We have a commitment to staff development and have an excellent track record for developing our psychology workforce. Successful candidates will have good communication and interpersonal skills and demonstrate empathy towards our client group.
