The Role
Reporting to the Production Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the effective scheduling and coordination of production activities. Working closely with Production, Procurement, Technical, Warehousing and Customer Administration teams, you will help ensure customer demand is met efficiently while maintaining high levels of service and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of daily and weekly production schedules.
- Support production planning activities by balancing customer demand, production capacity and material availability.
- Monitor production performance against plan and identify potential issues or variances.
- Maintain planning systems, spreadsheets and records with accurate and up\-to\-date information.
- Liaise with Production, Technical, Procurement, Despatch and Customer Administration teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor finished goods and raw material stock levels to support planning decisions.
- Assist with schedule changes arising from customer requirements, operational constraints or material shortages.
- Produce planning reports and performance data as required.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and service levels.
- Assist with month\-end reporting and other planning\-related administration.
- Carry out additional duties as required to support the effective operation of the Planning department.

- Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.
- Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, administrative, supply chain or production environment would be advantageous.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG or food production is desirable.
- Understanding of production planning processes and operational workflows.
- Experience using ERP systems or production planning software would be beneficial.
