Assistant Operations Manager
Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Operations Manager to support the effective operations of the hotel, by delivering excellent Customer Service and leadership to all guests and colleagues.
You will work closely and take direction from the Hotel Manager.
The successful candidate will be a vital part of the operations team ensuring the smooth day to day running of the hotel. You should be a strong communicator who can lead a team from the front and be professional and have an enthusiastic attitude. You must be able to deal with customer complaints and queries in a professional manner and be able to provide exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity.
- Monitor daily operations and address any issues that arise to ensure smooth functioning.
- Collaborate with department heads to coordinate activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and supervise team members to foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace.
- Proven experience in an operations management role or similar position.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations is advantageous.
