The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will work alongside the General Manager and Bar Manager to lead daily operations, manage floor staff, and keep front\-of\-house and back\-of\-house in harmony. You’ll step up to run the floor with confidence, keep service seamless, and maintain our high operational and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Shift Management: Run busy, structured shifts with energy, keeping team communication tight and service smooth.


• Quality Control: Oversee day\-to\-day cellar management, draught line maintenance, stock rotation, and high food service standards from the kitchen.


• Team Leadership: Assist with rota management, training, and motivating front\-of\-house team members.


• Compliance \& Standards: Ensure strict adherence to licensing laws, health and safety, food hygiene, and cash handling procedures.


• Customer Experience: Manage guest feedback with professionalism, ensuring high satisfaction across table and bar service.

• Minimum 1\-2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience in a busy pub/restaurant environment \- though we are fully open to developing driven candidates with real potential.


• Solid understanding of cellar management and draught line maintenance.


• Proven experience managing shift rotas and leading teams under pressure.


• Strong communicator with high personal standards and attention to detail.

Pay: £30,000\.00\-£33,000\.00 per year
