Assistant Manager
The Hanger Country Restaurant and Free House is looking for a dynamic, fun and enthusiastic Front of House Assistant Manger to join their team.
In order to achieve this we are looking for a candidate:
who is great with people and has a true love for hospitality.
who has spent at least a year working in a front of house management role and understands the complexity of running a Gastro Pub and has experience in working with in a food led enviroment.
who understands that a role of this nature requires weekend work.
Who is eager to learn about all aspects of running the business including stock control, business accounts, ordering, managing a modern Epos system as well as dealing with health and safety and licensing objectives.
who has an enjoyment of food and will be keen to widen our drinks offer to tailor around menus that our head chef creates.
who will motivate and monitor our fulltime and part time bar staff and make sure all standards are met.
who has or is keen to get a personal licence.
who is looking to progress quickly into a General Managers role and have responsibility for the long term success of the pub whilst working with and having the backup of our operations manager. Ed our ops manager will start managing the pub and will teach you all you need to know to progress to be a successful GM.
who has their own mode of transport and UK driving Licence and lives within a reasonable distance of the pub.
