We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in the hospitality sector. Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the restaurant or hotel, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


• Supervise and support staff, including training new team members in hospitality best practices, food safety, and customer service.


• Help manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout the establishment.


• Ensure that all food preparation meets culinary standards and adheres to health regulations.


• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.


• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation.


• Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing payroll processes as needed.


• Contribute to creating a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.


• Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate team members effectively.


• Knowledge of bartending practices is an advantage, along with a solid understanding of culinary techniques.


• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is crucial.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment.

Job Type: Full\-time

Pay: £27,500\.00\-£32,000\.00 per year
