Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast\-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for excellence, ensuring that our bar operates smoothly while delivering exceptional service to our guests. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of the establishment, fostering a positive team atmosphere, and maintaining high standards
Responsibilities
- Assist the Owner in overseeing daily operations of the bar, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Supervise and lead staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the team.
- Ensure compliance with EHO safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and organisation in all areas of the Bar.
- Train new employees in modern techniques, safety practices, and customer service standards.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for guest satisfaction at all times.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Assist in scheduling staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of EHO safety standards and best practices.
- Experience in bartending is essential.
- Must have good product knowledge and the basic understanding of how spirits are made!
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
Job Type: Full\-time
Pay: Up to £13\.00 per hour
