ASSISTANT MANAGER

Who We Are \- We are Camden BBQ! We have a very simple outlook. We offer great value tasty food in a fun place that plays good rock music. We smoke our bbq meats over hickory and serve up some of the best burgers and wings in London with a breakfast offering at the weekends. Our drinks offering consists of lovingly made cocktails and craft beer.

What We Need \- A great person to join our small team. We are a restaurant team of 10 people, so if you’re looking for that ‘homely’ environment, you’ll fit right in! You must be a positive and happy person who loves hospitality.

We need an Assistant Manager to run day\-to\-day operations You must be flexible as your shifts will cover 5 out of 7 days. You will be paid for every hour you work with a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours.

You must have supervisory experience and be a great waiter / waitress. You will have basic bar knowledge but we can train you on the rest. will be willing to learn and have a positive personality.

Your Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager you will be working closely with the owner who is effectively the General Manager, looking after our customers and making sure that they have a great experience with us. You. will play a key role in creating a good team spirit with a team that respects you because you have earnt it.

You will also understand food safety and hygiene which can be trained. You will ensure food and drink quality and consistency.

Here is a list of duties:

· Greeting customers with a happy and warm welcome and seating them.

· Managing service and the team.

· Opening, cashing up and locking up.

· Dealing with customer feedback and finding solutions.

· Taking orders and up\-selling.

· Serving food and clearing / re\-laying tables.

· General cleaning around the restaurant.

· Making soft drinks and pouring beer.

· Making cocktails.
