Assistant Manager

The Harrow at Bishopstone is a beautifully renovated country pub and restaurant, serving fresh seasonal food, fine wine, real ales, and the warmest of welcomes.

We're looking for an experienced Assistant Manager who is highly personable, passionate about delivering five\-star service and thrives in a busy working environment where no two shifts are ever the same.

The ideal applicant will have:

• The ability to deliver excellent customer service and great team work in a busy environment.


• Self\-motivation with excellent organisational and communication skills


• Previous experience in a management or leadership role within the hospitality industry


• A passion for the industry and the challenges that come with it


• Energy and motivation to successfully lead and inspire the team

• Overall management of the pub and restaurant in the absence of the General Manager


• Maintain front of house standards and drive excellence in service and drink quality


• Adhere to all legislative requirements for people, safety, food handling, licensing and maintenance of records


• Assist with all aspects of operations, including stock management and reservations


• Create and maintain a motivated team with excellent standards identifying talent and ensuring succession


• OTE £42,000 including service charge


• Full time position \- 45 hours per week

Pay: Up to £43,000\.00 per year
