As Assistant Restaurant Manager at Hawksmoor, you’ll play a key role in leading the front\-of\-house team and delivering warm, confident hospitality every day. You’ll support the Restaurant Manager in running the floor, developing people and maintaining high standards, while being a visible, hands\-on leader during service.
What You’ll Do
Support the Bar Manager with day\-to\-day leadership of the bar team
Lead shifts behind the bar confidently, ensuring drinks quality, service and speed meet Hawksmoor standards
Lead shifts on the floor, setting standards and creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere
Work closely with kitchen, bar and reservations teams to keep service running smoothly
Support recruitment, training and progression within the team
Help train and develop bartenders and barbacks through coaching and tastings
Manage stock, ordering, and waste to maintain excellent cost control
Be a visible, hands\-on leader on the floor and behind the bar
Deputise for the Bar Manager when needed, keeping service smooth and consistent
Who You Are
Experienced as an Assistant Bar Manager, Supervisor or strong Head Bartender in a quality, cocktail\-led venue
Passionate about cocktails, wines, spirits and creating memorable guest experiences
A supportive leader who develops and motivates their team
Organised, energetic and confident under pressure
Ambitious and ready to progress towards a Bar Manager role
