We're looking for someone who loves hospitality!

At Froth \& Fries, we do things differently. We're an independent Belgian beer bar and kitchen serving incredible loaded fries, burgers and sandwiches alongside one of the UK's best beer selections.

We're now looking for an Assistant Manager / Front of House Manager to help lead the business into its next chapter.

This isn't a role for someone who simply manages a rota. It's for someone who owns the floor, inspires a team, builds relationships with customers, and constantly looks for ways to grow sales and improve the experience.

Working closely with the Owner and General Manager, you'll become one of the leaders of the business.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences every shift.

  • Running the venue confidently in the absence of the Owner or General Manager.

  • Coaching, motivating and developing the Front of House team.

  • Driving sales through great service, product knowledge and upselling.

  • Managing service standards, cleanliness and presentation throughout the venue.

  • Supporting recruitment, training and performance management.

  • Managing stock, cash handling and daily operational procedures.

  • Helping deliver events and promotions that bring new customers through the door.

  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability and the overall business.
Who we're looking for

You will:

  • Have previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality.

  • Thrive in a fast\-paced, busy environment.

  • Be an exceptional leader who leads by example.

  • Take initiative and solve problems without waiting to be asked.

  • Have outstanding customer service skills.

  • Be energetic, positive and genuinely enjoy working with people.

  • Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Care about quality and take pride in delivering it every day.
Most importantly, you'll want to help build something special.

The role

  • 30\+ hours per week

  • Predominantly Thursday to Saturday

  • Two/Three closing shifts each week

  • Flexibility to support the wider business when required
What you'll get
  • Competitive hourly pay

  • Tronc tips/service

  • Staff discounts

  • Company pension

  • Training and development opportunities

  • Genuine opportunity to influence and grow the business

  • The chance to work in one of Bristol's most unique independent venues
Why Froth \& Fries?

We're not a chain. We don't believe in average hospitality.

We're building a business that combines outstanding food, world\-class beer and exceptional service with a workplace where people are trusted, developed and rewarded.

If you're ambitious, energetic and ready to lead from the front, we'd love to hear from you.
