Assistant Manager

Casa Felicia is a neighbourhood Italian restaurant in Queen’s Park, inspired by the warmth, flavours and hospitality of Southern Italy. We are looking for a confident and service\-driven Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant and help lead a strong front\-of\-house team.

This is a hands\-on role ideal for someone looking to develop their management career in a quality, food\-led restaurant environment.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent service standards, and a welcoming guest experience. You will be actively involved on the floor, leading by example and supporting the team during service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in the daily running of the restaurant


• Lead shifts and ensure high service standards at all times


• Supervise, train and motivate the front\-of\-house team


• Assist with staff rotas, labour control and day\-to\-day staffing needs


• Deliver outstanding guest experiences and handle feedback professionally


• Ensure the restaurant is presented to a high standard at all times


• Support stock control, cash handling and basic financial procedures


• Maintain health \& safety, hygiene and licensing compliance

What We’re Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or strong Team Leader in a quality restaurant


• Passion for hospitality and guest\-focused service


• Strong communication and leadership skills


• Hands\-on, organised and reliable


• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast\-paced environment

Desirable

• Experience in Italian or Mediterranean restaurants


• Wine knowledge or interest in food\-led dining


• Ambition to progress into a General Manager role
