Job Description:
Kin House is seeking for an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the team and assist in the running of the housekeeping department. The Assistant Head Housekeeper will play a supportive role to the Head Housekeeper to lead and coordinate the housekeeping team on a daily basis, managing stock and deputising in their absence. You will need to have an eye for detail and be able to prioritise effectively as well as work under pressure. You will need to demonstrate good communication and customer services skills and provide a warm and friendly service to our guests.
Responsibilities Include:
- Perform a variety of cleaning duties across the public areas of the site as well as within the bedrooms.
- Ensure all bedrooms and the house venue are cared for and cleaned according to company standards.
- Always work with highest standards and with a keen eye to spot and report maintenance issues.
- Deal with reasonable requests with professionalism and patience.
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company\-related practices.
- Manage rota and the team in the absence of the Head Housekeeper.
- Assist in the ordering of cleaning products and guest supplies.
- Maintain cupboards clean and tidy.
- Ability to work pro\-actively and maintain a high level of performance.
- Customer\-oriented and friendly.
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper.
- Previous experience in a similar environment.
- Full UK Driving licence.
- Holiday allowance of 28 days.
- 40 hours, 5 in 7 days, inclusive of evenings and weekends.
