The role Reporting to the Senior event manager, the role will involve the operational delivery of weddings and events including the following duties:

  • Assisting in the day to day operation and future planning of conferences, weddings and events with particular emphasis on top quality service and attention to detail.

  • Running conference events \& supporting the operational delivery of weddings including the management of breakfasts, evening receptions and upcoming wedding setups

  • Supervising, training and coaching the operational team with a particular focus on food and beverage operations.

  • Duty management as and when required
The Person

You will have a proven track record in events and service, this experience will be coupled with an eye for detail and strong organisational skills.

  • Ability to lead a team

  • Proactive and clear when communicating with clients and colleagues.

  • Previous experience at a busy event hotel or venue.

  • A methodical approach to tasks, daily duties and systems.

  • A flexible mindset with a desire to be self\-sufficient.

  • Ambitious in nature with a desire to grow in tune with our company.
This is a challenging role for a passionate and dedicated individual, who has excellent attention to detail, a warm friendly personality, and a drive to wow clients. There is also potential for the right candidate to develop into an Event Manager role.

Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will be required to have previous experience in weddings and events and/or restaurant and bar management for at least one year at a supervisory level.
