Topdrill is a specialist drilling company based in Milton Keynes. We work nationwide on construction, rail, and infrastructure projects, and we’re looking for reliable, hands\-on people to join us as Assistant Drillers.

This is a physical, practical role with plenty of variety, no two days are the same, and full training is provided, eventually leading to a NVQ in Land Drilling.

What the job involves

· Working outdoors on sites across the UK

· Supporting the Driller with setting up rigs and equipment

· Collecting soil and rock samples Helping install monitoring wells and instrumentation

· Keeping the site safe, tidy, and well organised

· Working nights and weekends when required

· Staying away from home around 50% of the time (allowances paid)

What we’re looking for

· You don’t need drilling experience — just the right attitude.

· Enjoys physical, outdoor work

· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn

· Good sense of humour and a team player

· Able to work nights, weekends, and stay away when needed

· Holds a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points)

· Lives within 20 miles of MK13 0DE

· Able to pass an industry medical, including drug \& alcohol testing
