We are a leading supplier of welding equipment, consumables, industrial gases and associated products, serving customers across the welding, fabrication, engineering and industrial sectors.

Job Overview

As an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with both existing and prospective customers within your territory. You will identify new business opportunities, provide excellent customer service and help customers find the right products and solutions for their needs.

Duties

• Managing and developing an assigned sales territory.


• Building strong, long\-term relationships with existing customers.


• Identifying and winning new business opportunities.


• Visiting customers and prospective customers on a regular basis.


• Promoting welding equipment, consumables and associated products.


• Preparing quotations and following up sales opportunities.


• Achieving agreed sales and margin targets.


• Keeping up to date with industry developments and products.


• Working closely with the internal sales and warehouse teams.


• Providing a high level of customer service and technical support.

Requirements

• Previous experience in field sales, business development or account management.


• Experience within the welding, fabrication, engineering, industrial or trade supply sector would be highly advantageous.


• Excellent communication and relationship\-building skills.


• A proactive approach to finding and developing new business.


• Good organisational and time\-management skills.


• The confidence to work independently and manage your own diary.


• A full UK driving licence.


• A positive, professional and customer\-focused attitude.
