Responsibilities
We are looking for a Maintenance Area Manager to lead and develop our on\-site maintenance operations across multiple customer locations. In this role, you will oversee teams, optimize resource allocation, and ensure the highest level of service delivery while fostering a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

• Establish and maintain a solid customer relationship.


• Manage maintenance teams across assigned area, including coordinators and direct supervision of technicians when required


• Execute Coordinator responsibilities when applicable


• Oversee overall workload within the area and optimize sharing of human and material resources incl. the implementation and monitoring of KPIs


• Challenge and optimize budgets related to material purchasing within site scope


• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members


• Identify and escalate training gaps; coordinate deployment of specifically trained technicians across sites


• Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Engineers to ensure high\-quality service delivery


• Liaise with HR BPs on individual cases and main corporate processes to ensure smooth cascading of information


• Coordinate with Deployment teams to align maintenance team arrival on new sites


• Define and set up the organization of on\-site teams for new site launches


• Support HR and Safety teams on compliance with local regulations


• Ensure application and compliance with EHS procedures for internal teams and external partners


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the scope of responsibility

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in maintenance management


• Fluent in English and Dutch


• Successful experience in leading and developing maintenance teams


• Excellent problem\-solving skills and attention to detail


• Excellent skills in mechanical and electrical maintenance operations, extensive knowledge in software and automation


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work in a fast\-paced, constantly changing environment
