Area Manager - Bristol & Cardiff Region - (HAW2714)
Location: Bristol, Cardiff and the surrounding M4/M5 Corridor. This role is primarily based around Bristol, where you will spend the majority of your time, with occasional travel to Cardiff and other locations across the M4/M5 corridor as required.
Salary: £35,000 per annum

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across Bristol, Cardiff and the surrounding M4/M5 corridor.
The Role
This is a hands\-on, field\-based management role where you'll be responsible for supporting site teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring our high standards are consistently delivered across multiple locations.
You'll work closely with both clients and operational teams to ensure contracts run smoothly, issues are resolved quickly, and service excellence remains at the heart of everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial cleaning contracts across Bristol, Cardiff and the surrounding M4/M5 corridor
- Lead, support and motivate cleaning teams across multiple sites
- Carry out regular site audits and quality inspections
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Recruit, train and develop employees
- Resolve operational challenges and customer concerns
- Monitor contract performance, compliance and KPIs
- Ensure Health \& Safety standards are maintained
- Identify opportunities for service improvements and contract growth
We're looking for an experienced and motivated manager who enjoys working in a fast\-paced environment and can confidently oversee multiple sites across the region.
We're particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are based in or around Bristol, as this is where the majority of the role is focused, and who can travel to Cardiff and other client sites across the M4/M5 corridor as required.
Essential
- Experience managing multiple commercial cleaning or facilities management contracts
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and relationship\-building abilities
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of Health \& Safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout Bristol, Cardiff and the surrounding M4/M5 corridor as required
- 5\+ years' experience within commercial cleaning, facilities management or a similar industry
- IOSH, BICSc or other relevant Health \& Safety qualifications
- Company laptop and mobile phone
