Architectural Assistant
Overview
We are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive architectural designs, managing project workflows, and collaborating closely with clients and construction teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, from conceptualisation through to construction documentation, ensuring functional and aesthetically compelling structures. Candidates should possess a strong technical background combined with excellent negotiation skills and proficiency in industry\-standard software.
The existing office address is 346 Queensbridge Road, Hackney, London E8 3AR.
The new office address is 358 Lordship Lane, Haringey, London N17 7QX. Relocation will be after April 2026\.

Duties
- Develop detailed architectural plans and visualisations using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, and NavisWorks.
- Create innovative 3D models and visualisations with 3ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors to negotiate project scope, budgets, and timelines.
- Prepare construction documentation and specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Utilise project management skills to oversee multiple projects from inception through completion, maintaining schedules and budgets.
- Engage in joinery design and detailing for bespoke interior or furniture elements as required.
- Conduct site visits during construction phases to ensure design integrity and resolve on\-site issues promptly.
- Assist in the realisation of designs through detailed joinery planning and coordination with manufacturing teams.
- Stay up\-to\-date with emerging industry trends, software tools, and sustainable building practices.
- Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, Rhino 3D (Rhinoceros 3D), Grasshopper 3D, NavisWorks, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrable expertise in construction processes, project management, and client negotiation.
- Familiarity with joinery techniques and materials is advantageous.
- Experience working on diverse projects, including commercial, residential, and bespoke architectural schemes.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently.

- The role is on\-site in London; candidates must be able to commute reliably to the office.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture is required.
- At least 1 year of relevant post\-qualification architectural preffered (UK only).
- This is a full\-time, on\-site role. Candidates must be available to work 37 hours per week, year\-round.
