Duties
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials before appointments
- Support patients by providing clear information, reassurance, and maintaining excellent communication throughout their visit
- Maintain high standards of infection control and sterilization of dental equipment in line with health regulations
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times
- Organize appointments, manage patient flow, and ensure the practice runs efficiently
- Support the team with administrative tasks such as updating patient information and handling correspondence
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Genuine interest in nursing, healthcare, or dentistry with a desire to develop a career in dental nursing
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and using practice management software
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on delivering excellent patient care
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work well within a team
- No prior experience required; full training will be provided as part of the apprenticeship program
Pay: £9\.00\-£12\.00 per hour
