Sturminster Dental Care is expanding and we're looking for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity to begin your career in dentistry, gaining hands\-on experience within a busy private practice while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Dental Nursing qualification.

As part of our practice, you'll receive full training, guidance, and support from an experienced team committed to helping you succeed. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of treatments and procedures, building valuable clinical knowledge and confidence in a real practice environment.

Working alongside experienced clinicians and nurses, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills across a range of private treatments including Orthodontics, Endodontics, and Cosmetic Dentistry, providing an excellent foundation for your future career.

Working Hours
-----------------

• 38 hours per week


• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm


• Training provided by Tempdent


• One day per week dedicated to off\-the\-job training, completed on the practice premises

• Fully funded Level 3 Dental Nursing Apprenticeship

• Learn and follow cross\-infection control and decontamination procedures


• Prepare and maintain clinical areas and equipment

• Develop essential clinical and organisational skills


• Complete coursework and practical assessments as part of your apprenticeship programme

• GCSE Grade 4/C or above in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)


• Genuine interest in starting a career in dental nursing


• Friendly, reliable, and eager to learn


• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient\-focused approach


• Good organisational skills and attention to detail


• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team


• Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme


• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
