Full\-Time Sales Assistant \& Social Media Coordinator

Animetal is one of the UK's leading anime retail stores, and we're looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team.

This is not a typical retail role. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves anime, enjoys talking to people, and can confidently engage customers in conversation. The ideal candidate will have strong anime knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create a welcoming in\-store experience.


• Engage customers in conversation and confidently discuss anime series, characters, collectibles, and merchandise.


• Assist customers with product recommendations and purchasing decisions.


• Create engaging content for Animetal's Instagram and TikTok accounts, including photos, videos, reels, and stories.


• Help grow Animetal's online presence and community through social media engagement.


• Process sales transactions and assist with daily store operations.


• Receive, organise, and replenish stock.


• Maintain high visual merchandising standards and ensure the store remains clean, organised, and inviting.


• Assist with packing and shipping customer orders when required.


• Support special events, product launches, and promotional activities.


• Carry out additional duties as required.

• Excellent anime and manga knowledge.


• Previous retail or customer\-facing experience.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Confident approaching and engaging customers.


• Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality.


• Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok.


• Good understanding of current social media trends.


• Excellent attention to detail.


• Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance.


• Ability to work independently and take initiative.


• Comfortable working in a fast\-paced retail environment.


• Availability to work weekends and public holidays.

• Experience in retail.


• Photography, video editing, or graphic design skills.


• Experience managing or growing social media accounts.

You'll be one of the faces of the Animetal brand both in\-store and online, helping customers discover new products while creating engaging content for our growing community.
