Role Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer who can take a product brief or use case and independently turn it into a robust, scalable analytics solution, with Tableau at the core of what you deliver.
AI is part of how we work. You’ll use tools like Claude as a thinking partner – to shape your approach to a problem, speed up SQL and dashboard development, check your logic, and sharpen how insights are communicated. Your analytical judgement stays firmly in charge; AI helps you get to the best answer faster.
You’ll sit in our value delivery group and work closely with the CTO, Analytics and Product teams to bring real\-time, data\-driven solutions to life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize analytical workflows and dashboards using Tableau, SQL, and AWS\-based databases.
- Translate complex business requirements into performant data models and dashboards, using AI tools to explore different approaches and find the best way to solve each problem.
- Use AI assistants to accelerate everyday work – drafting and optimizing SQL, troubleshooting calculations, suggesting visualization approaches, and checking data quality.
- Turn analysis into clear, well\-structured insight – summaries, commentary, and recommendations that business users can act on.
- Critically review all AI\-assisted output, so every deliverable remains accurate and trustworthy for client decision\-making.
- Build solutions that are scalable, reusable, and reliable, and document them so others can maintain and extend them.
- Work cross\-functionally with product managers, data experts, and engineers.
- Support live analytics solutions, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- In your first 3 months: you’ve learned our data and platform, and shipped your first series of use cases
- In your first 6 months: you independently own analytics use cases from brief to delivery, and AI is a natural part of how you get there.
- In your first year: business users rely on your work for key decisions, and you’re helping raise the quality and speed of the wider team’s output.
- 10\+ years in analytics, data engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Deep experience delivering complex dashboards using Tableau and other analytics tools.
- Deep experience with SQL, ideally in AWS/Postgres/Redshift environments.
- Regular, hands\-on use of AI tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in your analytics work, with examples of how they’ve improved your speed or the quality of your results.
- A practical understanding of where AI helps and where it falls short, the discipline to verify its output, and care for data privacy when working with client data.
- A problem\-solving mindset and comfort working independently from a brief.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills – you can explain complex findings simply.
- A degree in a technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with AI features in Tableau, such as Tableau Pulse or Tableau Agent.
- Knowledge of Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud.
- A Tableau Public portfolio or other shared examples of your work.
- Background in technical industries such as telecoms, connected vehicles, or aviation.
- Work on cutting\-edge analytics with real\-world connectivity data from global brands.
- Access to leading AI tools, and the freedom to use them to do your best work.
- Hybrid working model based in Dublin or in Belgrade Serbia
- A supportive team with deep technical and domain expertise.
- A collaborative, high\-trust team culture with real ownership from day one
