Analysis Engineer
Who are we?
First Subsea, based in Lancaster and part of the First Tech Group, has gone through a major transition in the last five years, transitioning from oil and gas projects to offshore renewables projects where we supply a range of bespoke and patented products, such as; lifting and recovery tools, and cable protection systems. All our products are designed, assembled and tested in\-house, and we have recently opened a dedicated manufacturing \& production facility for our cable protection systems.
As demand has grown for the products and services provided by First Subsea, the need for talented people has also grown in parallel.
The Role?
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Analysis Engineer on a full time permanent basis, based in Lancaster.

The role is primarily aimed at an engineer with strong experience in OrcaFlex and offshore/subsea analysis, who can develop, run and interpret numerical models to support product design, project delivery, qualification and technical decision\-making.
A key part of the role will also be working closely with the Sales team to provide technical input to bids and proposals. This will include developing analysis scopes, assessing technical requirements, supporting engineering estimates and providing clear technical justification for proposed solutions. The successful candidate will work across Design, Sales and Project teams, helping to convert customer requirements into technically sound, commercially viable solutions.
