8 Hours Per Shift – 06:00 \- 14:00 or 14:00 \- 22:00\.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and compassionate individuals with excellent communication skills, to provide safe transport for our patients.
You will be assisting our patients to and from their hospital appointments, treatment centres and other similar facilities.
About the Role
We are recruiting Ambulance Care Assistants (ACA) to join our specialist patient transport team.
This role involves the safe transportation of patients who require PMVA\-trained staff, including supporting individuals attending healthcare appointments, hospital admissions, discharges, and transfers between healthcare settings.
To be eligible for this position, all successful candidates must complete both:
- ACA (Ambulance Care Assistant) Training
- PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) Training
The next PMVA training course starts on 20th July, therefore applicants must be available to complete ACA training before this date.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport patients to and from hospitals, mental health facilities, clinics, and other healthcare settings.
- Support patients throughout their journey in a professional and compassionate manner.
- Work as part of a team to ensure patient safety and wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Adhere to company policies, patient care standards, and safety procedures.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Full Enhanced DBS
- A caring, professional, and calm approach.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to complete both ACA and PMVA training.
- Availability to attend PMVA training starting on 20th July.
This role is specifically for PMVA Patient Transport Services.
Before commencing duties, successful applicants will be required to complete:
ACA (Ambulance Care Assistant) Training
PMVA (Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression) Training
Please note: ACA training is a mandatory prerequisite and must be completed prior to attending the PMVA course on 20th July.

Essential Requirements
Manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.
Full Enhanced DBS
Training
Mandatory ACA training will be given. You must be available all 3/4days and pass all modules.
After completion of ACA training you will be required to complete a 3 day PMVA training course.
