Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. Duties

  • Install, service, and repair air conditioning units and systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and effectively.

  • Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify faults swiftly.

  • Lead maintenance teams during large\-scale projects or system overhauls, providing guidance and technical expertise.

  • Analyse system performance data to optimise operation and recommend improvements.

  • Repair or replace faulty equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.

  • Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or refurbishments involving HVAC systems.

  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair.

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing or guiding maintenance teams.

  • Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to HVAC systems.

  • Familiarity with construction processes related to HVAC installation projects.

  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.

  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in HVAC engineering or related fields are preferred but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated professionals seeking a challenging position that combines technical expertise with leadership responsibilities within the HVAC industry.
Pay: £38,000\.00\-£44,000\.00 per year
