Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Interpret technical schematics and engineering diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.
- Lead maintenance teams during large\-scale projects or system upgrades, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments of HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, adhering to industry best practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and HVAC equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior team members effectively.
- Experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programmes.
- Knowledge of air conditioning installation techniques within construction environments.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members professionally.
