Air Conditioning Engineer

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings.


• Interpret technical schematics and engineering diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.


• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment.


• Lead maintenance teams during large\-scale projects or system upgrades, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met.


• Troubleshoot complex mechanical faults and implement effective solutions promptly.


• Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments of HVAC systems.


• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.


• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, adhering to industry best practices.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to air conditioning systems and HVAC equipment.


• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, technical manuals, and engineering drawings.


• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise junior team members effectively.


• Experience in equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance programmes.


• Knowledge of air conditioning installation techniques within construction environments.


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
