About the Job
As an Aftersales Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and technical support to our customers across the UK \& Europe.
With 3\+ years of relevant experience, you will be a key member of our Aftersales Support Team, collaborating with engineers and customer support specialists to ensure the reliability and performance of Dumarey’s products.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to certify Dumarey products before deployment.
- Perform Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) at customer locations to ensure seamless installation and operation.
- Carry out repairs, modifications, maintenance, and testing at customer sites.
- Liaise with customers both remotely and in person to provide regular updates and support.
- Inspect products, diagnose malfunctions, and resolve issues according to maintenance plans.
- Ensure Dumarey products are maintained for optimal performance and safety, identifying wear, breakage, or potential hazards.
- Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and documentation to perform tasks accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and measurement equipment for servicing and inspections.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and detailed reports, including inspection records, test results, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to facilitate product development and resolve technical issues.
- Adapt to evolving situations, solve problems efficiently, and perform under pressure.
The role is based from our offices in Silverstone with 80% travel to customer sites both Nationally and Internationally, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are of paramount importance. When working at customer sites, you will be the face of Dumarey, liaising directly with clients utilising strong communication skills

Job Requirements
- NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Skilled Worker CSCS card or equivalent
- 3\+ years of relevant experience in electrical installations or maintenance.
- Experience in the energy sector is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with battery technologies and/or Battery Energy Storage Systems

Pay: £42,000\.00\-£48,000\.00 per year
