Administrator - £25,500pa - rising to £26,600 after probation - Shrewsbury
Our client in Shrewsbury is looking for an Administrator to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous office administration experience, a great work ethic, good numeracy / literacy skills with GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent), excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
Duties for the Administrator vacancy will include: -
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls and responding to emails
- Corresponding with Conveyancing Solicitors and communicating with internal depts
- Responding to pre-contract and re-mortgage enquiries
- Advising on requirements for transfer of equity transactions
- Providing up to date debtor history reports to Solicitors
- Liaising with internal accounts and property management departments
- Administrative assistance such as photocopying, scanning, filing and reviewing files
- Reading and interpreting legal documents
- Producing information packs and dealing with post completion documentation
- Keeping company records, including individual codes for Companies House registration. Dealing with annual returns, appointments, resignations and change of Director details and returning these to Companies House in accordance with Company Law
- Updating shareholder records & assisting with lease extensions & deed of variations
- Assisting with meetings, collating, distributing and storing minutes of meetings
- Undertaking Land Registry searches
- Proven office administrative experience and ideally a keen interest in Property / Law
- Strong communication skills & positive mindset (confident taking and making calls)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (minimum of GSCE grade C or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good punctuality and being able to work as part of a team or on your own
- Ability to prioritise you own workload and work to deadlines with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and be adaptable to changing priorities
- Experience within Estate Agency or Solicitors firm would be a distinct advantage

The working hours for this role are typically 9.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch break.
