Block Property Manager (Training Provided) - Shrewsbury

£27,500pa + Car Allowance (£3,600pa)

Our client, a well-established and professional organisation based in Shrewsbury ?has a great opportunity for a driven individual seeking a career within the Property Management sector.

The ideal candidate for this permanent Block Property Manager role will be a car driver/owner who is educated to at least A’ Level standard in Maths and English, with ?previous experience in an office-based customer service / problem solving role preferably within either Estate Agency or Solicitors firm along with strong, confident communication? ?skills.

As Block Property Manager your daily duties (once trained) will involve: -

• Carrying out periodic property inspections and ensuring all H&S regulations are maintained and preparing site reports


• Arranging maintenance for all areas


• Preparing and working within budgets and maintaining client accounts


• Ensuring the building, Directors and Officers insurance is in place


• Attending EGMs, AGMs, Directors’ and Residents’ meetings


• Producing correspondence and dealing with own administration including Section 20


• Dealing with breaches of the lease and liaising with landlord and leaseholders


• Liaising with, obtaining quotes and appointing contractors


• Property Sales (Assignment of the Lease)


• Dealing with complaints and using problem solving skills

• Previous ?office-based customer service / problem solving experience ideally gained within an Estate Agency or Property related legal role


• An understanding of the difference between leasehold and freehold


• To be a driver with your own car (Due to the travelling involved)


• Ideally Degree educated but A ‘Level Maths and English will be considered


• Keenness to learn and take part and complete all mandatory online training courses


• Confident, clear and professional communication skills both written and oral

Starting salary of £27,500pa + car allowance of £3,600pa, work mileage is paid on top of car allowance, full training and study support, career prospects, 25 days holiday + lots more.

The working hours are Mon to Fri 9.00am – 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch or 9.00am to 5.00 with half hour lunch.
