Job Summary
Part\-time Administration Assistant, permanent post.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind, competent and hard\-working individual that has confidence in multi\-tasking and prioritising to work within our busy practice administration team.

Applicants should be resilient and reliable, IT literate and enjoy working as part of a team, as well as using their own initiative when required. You should have excellent communication skills, and adhere to patient confidentiality at all times.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. Tasks will include answering and making telephone calls to patients and external agencies, arranging appointments, signposting patients to the correct healthcare service, processing of prescriptions, filing and managing clinical mail and inputting information and data into clinical systems.

Previous General Practice experience is not essential as training will be provided however some understanding of medical terminology is desirable.

20\-30 hours to be worked over Monday \- Friday between 8am and 6pm. These will usually be fixed hours, between 8 am and 6pm however some flexibility to cover holidays or sickness is essential. We’re happy to discuss hours that work for you.
