What You’ll Be Doing

As the AR Team Lead, you will champion operational excellence and mentor a talented team. Your key responsibilities will split across leadership, process improvement, and core financial management:

• Process Leadership: Standardise 3rd party and Intercompany (IC) invoicing processes to elevate our Shared Service efficiency.


• Ledger Ownership: Assume full ownership of the entire debtor’s ledger, including the control of accrued and deferred income.


• Credit \& Collections: Oversee new customer onboarding, implement a structured dunning letter process, and maintain strong relationships with debt collectors.


• Team Support: Guide the team in raising sales invoices, creating project codes, and managing the accounts mailbox/phone line.


• Financial Control: Handle FX revaluations, intercompany/balance sheet reconciliations, month\-end activities, and short\-term cash flow preparation.


• Performance Insights: Track, analyse, and report on operational KPIs to keep the team moving forward.


• Financial Systems: Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other finance systems

• AAT Level 4


• Experience in sales ledger management and credit control


• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs


• Adaptive communication skills to suit different audiences


• Strong time management and prioritisation skills


• Previous experience in a fast\-paced environment with tight deadlines
